Larksfield Surgery
A message to all patients registered at Larksfield Surgery, Stotfold, that, from 3 June 2013, until further notice, the dispensary will be closing between 1-2pm every day, to enable new staff to be trained. We have performed an audit and found that this would be the best time to close, to avoid inconveniencing too many patients, but it is, unfortunately, unavoidable at the moment.
West Drive – survey
At a public meeting on 10th June at Fairfield Community Centre the future of West Drive was the subject. A survey was circulated at the meeting and copies of this are available here:

From the survey document it reads:
"Central Bedfordshire Council has agreed to accept ownership of West Drive and buses will not be using that route. The available
money can be spent on improving travel options for residents. There are two ways that we can spend the money:
1 create an attractive cycleway so that residents can walk or cycle safely between Fairfield and Arlesey
2 arrange for bus services around Fairfield Park and neighbouring towns, local services, places of work and schools
There will be a limited budget from which we plan to contribute to both of these aims. The proportion of funding allocated to each
scheme, and the details, will be guided by what you tell us are your priorities".
